What type of hair is your specialty?
I love all hair types and lengths. When I lived and worked in LA, I learned a lot about coarse, thick, curly and wavy hair. Then, when I moved to Seattle I started working with clients who had the opposite in terms of texture and style - so I gained experience with fine hair and textured cuts. I feel like moving made me well rounded and I now love working with all hair types and textures. Personally, I have long, fine wavy hair – so I do tend to work with a lot of clients with similar hair to mine.

Who are your favorite clients?
I enjoy the variety of my clientele; it is one of my favorite parts of the job (besides being creative)! I love getting to talk to people everyday and build friendships - I feel really lucky to have such amazing, fun, smart clients. There’s never a dull moment when working with people!

What trends do you currently love?
The trends that are inspiring to me right now are really structured perimeters with textured interiors. This isn’t always the best cut for all hair types, but I think it is beautiful when done right. I am also always into effortless looking hair (perfectly messy)!
